Print Design
Before focusing on the web, I started as a designer for printed media. I have designed everything from business cards and brochures to trade show booths, billboards, and product packaging. I even had the opportunity to do wraps for cars and a 72-foot-wide trailer. You name it, I have probably designed something to print on it. With that experience, I'm often asked to help extend the web brand. Here are some examples.
I designed and wrote messaging that helped healthcare administrators quickly understand the benefits of using Perception Health’s platform. Not a small feat when you consider I was working with a team of data scientists who mainly spoke robot.
“Rememberable” was a term used in the kick-off meeting. This small marketing agency had big dreams of a virtual agency, long before many had considered remote teams to be viable. They needed to be different. They needed people to take notice.
Nashville’s Oktoberfest had a new app with maps of all stage locations and, most importantly... beer stands. They needed location signs to promote it.
The Nashville Sounds minor league baseball team had a brand new app and a ballpark full of BKON brand beacons. I designed the app, posters, and even a scoreboard promo.
Want to get a couple of hundred techies to show up for a seminar about Bluetooth Low Energy beacon technology? Beer works every time. These illustrations were used to promote Nashville, Chicago, and Ontario events.
