Lobby CRE Platform UX/UI
Lobby CRE (Commercial Real Estate) is a property asset management platform for Real Estate investors. Their users needed an “at-a-glance” performance overview of their portfolio of properties and the ability to drill into the details. In addition to those metrics views, I designed intuitive tools that helped property managers and investors easily calculate and evaluate risk scenarios, ultimately improving their profit.
I built responsive drag and drop components in Figma. It may not sound like a big deal, but seeing how quickly the platform was evolving, having these as responsive components easily saved days, if not weeks, of custom work ($) for the UX team.
Who doesn’t love a good horizontal scroll through a spreadsheet? Me. That’s for sure. But for users with smaller screens, necessity rules.
Users can compare properties with third-party data then compare P&L averages or totals of all, or the variance between two key properties. Then tweak the numbers to see how changes can impact future projections. It was definitely a challenging puzzle.
This platform is powerful, but only if someone knows how to harness that power. I designed a colorful (hard to ignore) set of standards for tooltips that help new users identify and utilize key functions within the platform.
Because we already had enough hurdles regarding onboarding, it made sense to reduce friction wherever possible. The tab view could be considered a bit on the literal side, but users were already familiar with that UX.
